HOW IT STARTED
LLUM is a team of versatile and talented professionals, all chasing the same dream.
And the dream is to create a production powerhouse outside of Bucharest and a hub where creative people of all kinds can express themselves.
Our services cover every aspect of bringing a project to life, from concept development to delivering the final product. We handle everything from brainstorming concepts, writing scripts, coordinating projects, hiring crew members, managing production logistics, providing equipment, scouting locations, casting talent, handling post-production, and even set and prop design.
We set out on this journey back in 2018 with nothing but a handful of cameras, a shared office & studio space in Iasi town center. And a hunger for achievement. Despite the challenges, our commitment to producing high-quality content never changed.
As time passed, we polished our skills, learned from our mistakes, and built a reputation for delivering exceptional work. We invested in better equipment and constantly pushed ourselves to improve.
HOW IT’S GOING
More people joined our common goal: experienced photographers such as experienced photographers such as Alexandru Saru or Vlad Balteanu, young talents in photography like Andrei Andries, the videography GOAT Vasea Onel, marketing guru Ioana Bejan, digital marketer Radu Medan, re-toucher Ciprian Minea, master of all lights Radu Afloarei, and creative unicorn Razvan Barba.
Realizing that we had outgrown our office & needed to expand, we got a bigger place and branded it as ”LLUM Studio”. LLUM, which means „light” in Catalan, is a nod to our commitment to capturing the essence of light and moments in our work.
